To follow is a visual collection of light rings which we have placed in winter containers over the past 15 years or so. This first picture is a detail of the last. The last picture features our current display of them at the shop. I am very pleased that adding strings of twig garland lights proved to be transformative. We will go on making them – in one form or another.

In the 2011 pic with the urn of red balls, what is the woven basket like object to the left?
It appears to be a custom piece from the Branch Studio. Here’s link to a similar piece:

Thank you Diana. my best, Deborah
Stunning. Thank you for posting the collection; so fun to see the subtle changes over the years.
So inspiring. It is informative to see the simple form transformation. From the Midwinter fire to the sublime fir lined ring.
Thank you, thank you.
BEAUTIFUL. EXQUISITE
Lighted rings beautiful as usual. Visited a few years ago during garden tours and wine and Lunch. Very relaxing
Absolutely gorgeous! I love all of them! Such talent creating these beauties! I do enjoy looking at all the pictures you post.
I think I need to update my ring lights.
Creative genius! Watched you for years. Great job!
What a beautiful way to brighten the winter night landscape!
Absolute magic! I am ordering the twig garland lights for my ring next fall when they are restocked!
This post gives me pure joy. I love every single variation. Now I need to figure out how to get this into my life and landscape….. This is genius, art and winter therapy rolled into one!
Question…. How do you wrap the lights that make them all end up on top of the ring. It seems when I wrap some end up all over under and on top ???? Thanks
Love all of these!
You simply amaze me each and every time with your creative designs! You inspire me every year and this collection certainly is exceptional. No one does it better than you and your crew. Thank you for sharing your incredible designs with us.
Thank you, new inspiration for using the rings I bought from you a few years back!
Loved this posting! The evolution of a masterwork.
Your client’s winter container is breathtaking every time I look at it.
Years ago I read a quote from an unnamed painter that still fascinates me today.
She wrote that, every time an artist creates a piece of work s/he really cares about, a piece of evil is taken out of the world.
And I am thinking how much light and beauty these ring creations quite literally bring into the world.
Each image lifts my heart and reminds me that there is more to celebrate in life than being weighted down by the challenges.
Thank you for the inspiration, Deborah!
Thank you for this Terry. all my best, Deborah
