The little and special plants that mark spring containers-how I love them. I love the tubs, pails, baskets and crates that make great homes for those little and special spring plants. I did post some of these pictures on the Detroit Garden Works facebook page today, but I couldn’t resist posting them here. These spring container plantings make me smile. What about you?

Happy Belated Thousandth Post, Deborah! Holy cow! That’s impressive, especially considering the time and care you put into each one.
I am sure I speak for many- you inspire us tremendously with your passion and knowledge of gardening. Keep up the fantastic posts!
I hope everyone noticed how Milo’s toy ball picks up the orange Pansy color..it’s the little details that make the difference..and this is what I look forward to every day in my gardening life and in your posts.
Some days my eyes don’t seem to see much at all, and other days I get lucky!
My Dear Deborah….I am sitting her with my mother showing her your website, your blog and all the beautiful work that you do from start to finish. I must say, she is inspired and speechless and thinks you work 50 hour days!!! I know just sitting here with her by my side looking at the computer made her day just seeing the beauty that you create!!! I love and adore you more that words can express!! Keep up the amazing work that you, and only you, can create. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, comments, photographs, insights and talent to all of us. Sometimes in life it is nice to hear that you are appreciated and your hard does not go unnoticed! Thank-you for sharing!!! ~Susie
